I purchased this jig to make a farm table for my wife, it was our turn to host Thanksgiving and we didn’t have a dining table big enough for our family, so I decided to make one. It made the assembly so much easier! Didn’t have a single board crack on me. It was the first time I used it so I was reluctant to even purchase it but boy am I glad i did. Only thing is I wish I would have bought the bigger one because now I want to make other projects.

I have been using this thing for a couple years now. I bought this mostly to build some sturdy shelving and work bench at my house. It has done a great job. This thing creates rock solid joints especially with a little wood glue in the joint as well. I used this primarily with irwin quik grip clamps for holding it in place while drilling holes and it works very well for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

You will use this all the time! (probably)

I am a novice woodworker. The pocket hole system is virtually foolproof and necessary for a do-it-yourself-er to build a multitude of wood projects without complicated techniques or expensive equipment. With the kreg jig system, a drill, and a circular saw, I have built a train table, bench, entryway hutch, bookcase, and a dresser that I am actually not ashamed to have on display in my house! (see picture of hutch I built using only those three tools) Seriously though, get it. I use it all the time.

New favorite tool!

What can I add that 1100+ reviews already haven’t? Not much. But I love this kreg r3 so much I just had to share. It’s perfect for my DIY needs and I’ve cranked out some great projects since picking it up. Patio table with center planters for coolers? Check. New sandbox with lid that folds into benches for the kids? Check. New console table just kind of thrown together for behind the couch? Check. My garage was kind of full for a while as I hit all the DIY cliches, but all of these projects were SOOO much easier and nicer looking with the kreg to make joints that it was kind of ridiculous.

Great tool and value – must have Kreg clamp to use effectively

Great addition to workbench – love the easy to use design. You must purchase the clamp for it though, as without it, I am not sure how you would hold it in place. Easy to set up and use, this is a great system that will make you look like a master craftsman.

I purchased this jig because I wanted to do some entry level woodworking and wanted the better fit/finish that comes with attachments using pocket holes, biscuits, dowels, or other joints. after some extensive research I found that the pocket jig would be most versatile and least costly method.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I purchased this for a woodworking project in process. I knew what it was supposed to do, but had never worked with one before. I’m a construction worker, but I mainly do framing, and haven’t much needed to do pocket holes and other joinery that isn’t head-on, and have been teaching myself more detailed, partiular work as I go along. This turned out to be a good addition to my repertoire.
