My first electric toothbrush and I can definitely notice a difference in how clean my teeth are. I disabled the easy mode when I got it. Runs for 2 minutes and each 30 seconds it stops for a split second to let you know to move to the next area of your teeth. Straight forward and I’m glad I bought it.

Highly recommended by this dental hygienist!

Love, love, love Sonicare! I’ve been a dental hygienist for 30 years, and have used Sonicare since they came out with it. They have the best electric brushes out there. We hygienists can always tell if someone is using a manual brush or a sonicare, the difference is like night and day. Phillips is a great company to work with, they stand by these brushes and give you no problem if the brush breaks or dies. They offer a two year warranty, and I always tell patients to leave it unplugged (just plug it in overnight when it needs to be charged). If you leave it unplugged it will last for years! Amazon has better prices on sonicares than any store out there. Excellent brush!

So i see they’ve fixed the biggest downside of a sonicare brush

If you are using an older sonicare where you screw the top on and deal with mildew growth inside the screw on brush…upgrade now. Theyve solved that issue its now a solid brush with a pin attachment, no cavernous hollow to fill with multi colored goo…

I have the much more expensive Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean toothbrush that my entire family uses on a daily basis so I bought this one to take with me when I travel. It’s basically the same toothbrush as my Diamond Clean, but without the 4 extra cleaning modes and the cool, cup charger.

great toothbrush, not too loud and relatively stable despite comments from some reviewers

i spent a lot of time looking at reviews for the philips sonicare products. i had an oral b electric toothbrush that i was very happy with, but my dentist recommended the sonicare so i decided to give it a try. this is the simplest (and cheapest) of the sonicare line. many of the review suggested that the gadgets on the more expensive sonicare products (3 series, healthy white, diamond care, flexcare, etc) were not really helpful (timers, pressure sensors, variable settings, etc.) and i agree. i just wanted a toothbrush that would work and didn’t want too many buttons to deal with or complexities that could break.

Wish I’d bought 10 years ago!

I bought 1 as a gift but KEPT it for me! Took a little getting used to (tongue-tickling) but WOW! BIG DIFFERENCE from my Oral-B Vitality electric toothbrush, which I’ve used for 10+ years. So I bought many of these as gifts for family over 55. They were moved and eager to learn how to use–they would “never have paid so much for a toothbrush!” There are lots of ‘bells & whistles’ on pricier models, but this $35 Sonicare = such a great deal! Timing feature is neat, helps a lot. Also love pink salmon color, so unusual! I’ll gladly buy extra brush heads for the whole family to keep them healthy!

I like that it starts to give warnings before the battery …

My teeth actually feel much cleaner after using this toothbrush! I have had 2 different dentists tell me that using this will actually keep your teeth cleaner and hold up their professional teeth cleanings if used consistently. The charge seems to last a few weeks before recharging is needed. I like that it starts to give warnings before the battery dies so you never have to go without it. I also love the quad pacer feature. I got one for each member of the family.

Do your mouth a favor..

A vast improvement over older models. At first I thought the vibrations were weak, being acclimated to brushes of this kind for years now, but it turns out that the brush is programmed to take it easy on you for the first few uses. Once this safeguard wore off, I was surprised at it’s power. very sleek and much easier to clean and the brush head fits directly on to the body without the need of an adapter like previous models. By combining this tooth brush with Sensodyne Pro Enamel tooth paste, I have gone from 3 extractions and 2 root canals to not having a single cavity in years. My teeth also are stunningly white, and draw many compliments.
